Child Care Birmingham, Clarkston & Clinton Twp- Is available at no cost, no need to arrange in advance just come to the K Kids area. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start to get the kids checked in.

Is there a cost to attend FPU - Kensington does not charge for FPU however, you will need a FPU membership kit to attend. Prices for the kit vary but are generally between $93 to $99 plus shipping. Membership kits are purchased directly from Dave Ramsey though the registration process. Kits are not available for purchase at the class. Does each family member need to purchase a membership kit? - No. The membership covers the whole family living under the same roof and engaged couples.
I previously took FPU, do I need to purchase a new membership kit? - No. The membership is a lifetime membership. You can re-attend public classes at any church without purchasing a new membership kit. If you want online access during the new format class you will need to purchase an updated workbook available directly from Dave Ramsey by calling 888-227-3223.
What will you learn in Financial Peace University?
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a nine-week class on money taught on video by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. We have a team of Dave Ramsey Certified counselors and FPU graduates that will facilitate the class and lead the small group discussion after the video.
Lesson 1 Super Saving Common Sense for Your Dollars and Cents Dave explains the seven Baby Steps that will guide you throughout Financial Peace University. You will also learn the three key reasons why you should save money—and why you must start now!
Lesson 2 Relating With Money Nerds and Free Spirits Unite! Learn why it's important for spouses to communicate and work together toward success. Also, singles will learn the importance of accountability, and parents will find out how to teach their kids about money.

Some have been considerably _How often do FPU classes meet? Classes are held once per week for 9 consecutive weeks.
How often do Legacy Journey classes meet? Classes are held once per week for 7 consecutive weeks.
How is each class structured? Each class session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. During the first hour, Dave Ramsey teaches on video. During the remaining time class members come together for small-group discussion. Group members support each other and hold each other accountable as they work together to transform their financial future.
What is the average size of the class? Each class size averages between 8–12 families (12–24 people). Sometimes even larger based on registrations
What happens if I miss one class? Can I make it up? As part of your lifetime membership to FPU, you will receive audio discs of all 9 lessons in your kit. If you miss a class, simply review the audio during the week and discuss a meaningful highlight with your coordinator when you return to class.
You could also ask your coordinator about possibly making up the session or borrowing the DVD. If a coordinator loans out a DVD—with the promise that it will be returned at least two days prior to the next class—we suggest they only do so if they get a $35 deposit on the DVD. That's what it will cost to replace it.
How many classes do I need to attend in order to graduate? You must attend 8 of the 9 classes to qualify for a graduation certificate.

Can I get any additional assistance? Yes! Depending on your situation there are specific care structures in place. Please speak with me off line to discuss.

How can we stay connected after the class ends?
This is a great question and one we have not totally figured out. Each class starting with the Fall 2011 class has it's own Facebook group to try to build a sense of community after the class ends.
